It's true. whatever inspiration that was keeping me writing about good stuff a few months ago has deserted me. Probably off gambling in Vegas and picking up guys or some damn thing.
so I keep thinking that I've got to get back on track with the cool stuff, yo. but i just sit around and watch hockey and eat pecan praline parfaits and float along in limbo. But really, i'd much rather be writing something interesting in here, instead of quizzes and memes all the time.

Maybe...
Maybe what I need to do is some kind of morning pages stuff. Julia Cameron and all that. Just something that doesn't really matter, something that keeps the motions of writing going. I find myself wanting a writing excercise, a springboard, the writer's equivalent of hearing grilled cheese and turning 8 again. Any sources for this stuff? And something else just hit me. Yo! You in the secret cabal! You who knows what I mean when I say The Game--
How do you think an LJ community for that would work? could it work? or is it something we have to do in the chat in order to keep the time pressure up? Comments, comments. I guess I could try it and we could see if it works or not, but I'm not sure. It's just an idea.
