A picture laden post of my hairstyle.
Sep. 24th, 2005 02:09 amSoooo. you ever wonder what kind of updo/bun hairstyle you could do on your past shoulder length to near waist length hair with two pony tail holders, six hair pins and less than ten minutes?
( 86 K worth of pitchers! )
how I did it, the short version:
I made a ponytail, then twisted up a 2 strand rope braid, fastened the end, wound it in a bun, tucking the ends under and pinning in place. I used hairpins, but bobby pins will do if there are no hairpins.
That glossiness? a glossing of Ultimate Hair and Skin Butter. bun updos are a great way to wear a long term oil treatment - nobody can tell your hair is *oily* and the oils make your hair gloss nicely. Plus you've got the ends tucked under and protected. bun updos are *good.*
oh, and yet more LOVE! Kate Bush - King of the Mountain. Yes, this is new. scoop it, darlings.
