Okay, you geeks and people with opinions--

I am considering going to get training to be an internet geek.  the actual occupation is Computer and Network Operator, National Occupation Code 2281.1. Related occupations are Customer Support Analyst, NOC 2282.

On the bigger ticket side, there's Information Systems Security Analysts (NOC 2171.2)  I'm looking at schools that could provide a little Learnin' to help me keep my resume from being laughed out the door.

So I emailed a bunch of them.

Only one school has responded.

And that response is disturbing.  A message every day, from a different person - come down and see us! we want to help you! we're not going to tell you anything in email though.  Come to the school! talk to our financial aid officer! We want to help you succeed!

whoa.  Am I being old-fashioned, or should I avoid that school like the very plague?

it's not a sonnet, but...

...I wrote a challenge for 30minutemuse. I suspect it's literature, since it's tiresomely autobiographical, though not written prettily enough.  I suppose if I kept going with it, I would use it to point out how the Interstitial person lives...

anyway, most of you aren't on that community so I added it to my own LJ too. First draft, wobbly, all that.
