Chelsea,
I made the time to read "As a Hand Rules Heaven" this weekend, and
was extremely impressed. It's well written, original, and has terrific
characters. I particularly enjoyed the well thought-out background.
Ultimately though, it opens just a bit too slowly for us. We're a
magazine of adventure fantasy, and buying chiefly more action-oriented
pieces at the moment. I'm afraid I'll have to return it, with genuine regrets.
You have a real flair for plot and characters, and I hope you'll
try us again soon.
