There's a light...over at the Frankenstein place.

My Regular yet Charmingly Intermittent LJ posts should resume within a week. Why not this week? I've got to get moved into my new place. I'll be coming at you from the North Side, as the kids these days say.

I'm almost all the way paid to getting my computer out of hock. Today's goals on the pack list are:

1. Take down pictures, wrap fragile items in bubble wrap
2. Pack decorative little bits that sit on top of my bookshelves, wrap fragile items in bubble wrap
3. Pack the Tall Bookshelf
4. Pack the CDs and crap that sits on the shelf next to my computer.

And today's dilemma: do I take the small room with the good closet or the slightly bigger room with the crappy closet? Well, it's a better closet than the one I was using before...

Tonight, I will sleep in a bed, with a four year old American Tabby Shorthair doing his version of a backwalking massage on my scapular muscles while purring like a motor. and gentle readers, I can only think of one or two things more pleasant, more luxurious, more worthy of gratitude than that.

And I can get the Marscapone cream cheese for the other thing if I ask nicely.
