Just under the Wire!
I sent Le Beau Homme to the Dark Surrender Anthology at Circlet today. The postmark deadline was today, and I got the thing printed and sent ONE HOUR before the postal service showed up.
Now that's what I call cutting it close.
Worked at the Gas Station. It's a surreal kind of fun. Had an event on my walk home involving a private home and a big screen TV showing a movie I immediately recognized - I think there might be a story in it somewhere, though definitely on the erotica side of things.
I don't know what to think of this whole erotica thing. Six months ago I couldn't even write a "camera pans up" love scene--I'd get incredibly embarrassed, sitting in a room completely alone where no one could see me. Now I'm getting more ideas for dirty stories than I am for the fiction i figured I'd always write. I'd like to get some fiction ideas. I'd like to write some groovy fantasy peice, and that reminds me - It looks like retold fairy tales is the october challenge at the Del Rey workshop (so far, anyway.) so maybe a bit of research into fairy tales will help me generate a little fiction....
Though i'm not knocking writing smut. It's GREAT fun.
